The best season for college football in the history of the state of Kentucky? Lane Kiffin is back. Jeff Fisher is gone, and Eric Dickerson gets his way. One old running back who has been a great value in your fantasy football league. The Pro Bowl is now a rematch of Globo Gym vs Average Joe's. DeMarcus Cousins vs. Julius Randle II, Electric Boogaloo. Jeopardy contestants don't remember Karl Malone. And we find a college basketball underdog worth a play tonight.

Valparaiso and Kentucky face off tonight in Lexington. We look at the real numbers that matter, not talk radio fluff, when predicting the outcome and whether Valpo has a Puncher's Chance. Both Duke and Florida impressed last night, but Ohio State did not. BBN must be thrilled Little Richie Pitino has cupcaked his way to a hot start. Lamar Jackson will win the Heisman, despite his own school rooting against him. Joe Mixon isn't far from being the new Ray Rice. What happens when The Bottom Line recognizes you for being the best gambling team in the nation? You get a better job and a huge raise! Just ask Temple. History tells us Willie Taggart will turn things around, eventually. The Red Sox are playing for now, not later. John Wall is no Bernard King. It's awards day! We give out The Gamblies, AKA The 2016 Bottom Line College Football Gambling Awards. All of the public money is almost exclusively on one playoff team out in Vegas, which makes us want to lean the other way. Leonard Fournette turns pro. In other news, water is wet. John Calipari wants UK to get back to basics, the cry of anyone who just lost miserably. The Jets looked horrible, and just gave up on the rest of the season. Bryce Harper is going to be a very rich man, while Aroldis Chapman just wants to be a rich man. RIP Rachel Phelps AKA Margaret Whitton. DeMarcus Cousins rolls with Matt Barnes. And we pick 2 college basketball games for tonight.

The College Football Playoff Committee reminds us that it's more important to know the right people and have the right name, than be skilled, talented, and hard-working. Ohio State gets away with it for the 2nd time in 3 years. Committee chairman Kirby Hocutt was so scared he would make Never Nervous Pervis Ellison nervous. Kirk Herbstreit was also scared to death, allowing ESPN to control everyone by giving information they had for many hours. Kentucky vs. Georgia Tech in a bowl with plenty of running. UK football recognized where no other SEC team would. Jim Harbaugh is still pissed at the refs. Tommy Tuberville deserves worse than he got at Cincinnati. We hate football chest passes. UCLA defeat of UK was a big upset, but not the biggest of the season. Isaiah Briscoe is exposed for the player he proved last year: a bad shooter with little confidence outside the paint. Why isn't Humphries and Mulder playing more? Villanova is the new #1, but we like another team with a better resume'. A sign the Bengals season is over, even if they win out. And we pick tonight's MNF game between the Colts and Jets, after a huge weekend picking upset winners.

Looking ahead to the big weekend in college football and basketball. Does UCLA even stand a chance statistically against Kentucky? One stat in which UCLA is dead last in America, and that UK will exploit. How did the Big Ten Championship Game become meaningless, while Ohio State benefits from not playing? We are expecting the college playoff committee to throw a serious curveball on Sunday, especially to Ohio State and Michigan supporters. Which is worse: the lower end of the SEC, or the slugs at the bottom of the Big Ten? Is Lane Kiffin coaching his last game at Alabama? Isiah Thomas finally gets his revenge on Michael Jordan, the most bitter man in sports. While Roy Williams hates his fat cat fans. Finally, we found a stat to discount Lamar Jackson's Heisman candidacy. And we are on fire with our Upset Special basketball picks, so we have 3 more for the weekend to go along with a college football conference championship game Upset Special.

Kentucky's big win over Arizona State impresses everyone, except Ken Pomeroy and Jeff Sagarin. If even Dan Dakich is bragging about UK, then they must really be playing well. The College Football Playoff committee stresses Conference Titles as their #1 criteria. Then how come everyone says Ohio State is a lock? Lamar Jackson's Heisman stock is down, and one person wants to sell low, while one gambler deserved to lose his $726 bet on Louisville. Our Power 5 Team of the Year, Colorado, shoots themselves in the foot before their biggest game. Why are people still trying to get Michigan in the playoff? Is Lane Kiffin REALLY headed for Tennessee? We gloat about picking the Packers on MNF. Should the Bengals tank? Why do you never hear the background on Tyreek Hill? Don't mess with my man Eric Dickerson. Bill Belichick owes Tim Tebow a lot of cash. DeMarcus Cousins wishes ill will on John Wall. And we pick a college basketball Upset Special for tonight.

Kentucky football's miraculous season of redemption ends with the biggest Power 5 upset in Vegas all season. Stephen Johnson was the best QB on the field, not the Heisman favorite. If you'd said UK would finish 7-5 with 2 road wins when they were 0-2 and coming off the Florida defeat, I would've laughed in your face. Ohio State being invited to the College Football Playoff and the Big Ten Champion is left out would make the process a joke, regardless of whether Ohio State is worthy or not. College football coaches lie. In other news, water is wet. Does Butch Jones losing to Vandy give them the Championship of Life belts? Brian Kelly ends the worst season in recent memory for a preseason Top 10 team. Kentucky basketball faces Arizona State tonight. People say UK is #1, but computers disagree. Which Wildcat players deserve more playing time, and which ones deserve less? Even BBN troll Jeff Goodman finally gives up. Two surprising teams in college basketball to date. The Bengals are finished, but need to make sure they aren't the team that loses to Cleveland. And we pick tonight's MNF Packers-Eagles game....

Kentucky football should be thrilled with 6 wins and a bowl, despite not starting their QB and failing to see the big picture. Louisville's season is over, but does that mean UK has a chance? The numbers say absolutely not. The College Football Playoff faces a huge contradiction if Ohio State defeats Michigan. Butch Jones finally found a championship he can win. Charlie Strong lost his job long before the humiliating loss to Kansas. How does Brian Kelly get a pass when Charlie Weis did not? Kentucky basketball might be ranked #1 by the AP, but they're the only ones who think that way. The numbers to date say Mulder should be playing more, and Monk is overrated. Is the Michigan State win losing cache' by the day? 2 teams we have no chance of predicting: Georgetown and UConn. Jeff Goodman goes for trolling BBN to get clicks. Bengals season is finished. Dallas is on a record run in Vegas, too. Welcome, Scott Tolzien. Ryan Schraeder deserves his money. And we have an Upset Special in college basketball for today.

We aren't the kinda guys who like to say we told ya so about Louisville football, but we've documented telling ya so for weeks - Bobby The Brain Heenan and Mr. Perfect-style. If Kentucky somehow loses to Austin Peay, Mark Stoops would have pissed away all the goodwill he has garnered the last 6 weeks, and should be fired on the spot! We look at the 2 Loser Leave Town Games in college football this week, and wonder aloud why one team still with a very small chance to make the playoff is an underdog to an unranked team. BBN prepares for Kentucky basketball to be ranked #1 next week after the formality of defeating Duquesne? Who cares is Calipari refuses to play again at Indiana, although it does seem rather weak. Ken Pomeroy loves Duke - still his #1 team even after losing - and the ACC as a whole. And we look to add to our perfect 2-0 record in college basketball Upset Specials.

Kentucky's very impressive defensive effort is the deodorant that covers up the stink that still exists - poor 3-point shooting. Malik Monk got the headlines, but we like 2 other players as the most valuable in the win over Michigan State. Is it time to buy or sell on Bam Adebayo? We gloat Ric Flair-style over calling 2 big upsets in college basketball last night. Arkansas basketball fans are no-shows. Hoping Northwestern basketball loses their butts in a lawsuit. A Lexington high schooler makes the absolute correct decision. The College Football Playoff rankings prove nothing, yet again, but Louisville is still pissed. Jimbo Fisher is all but gone. Danny Sheridan is looking for attention. Leonard Fournette is insulting our intelligence. A gambler who hit a big parlay off last week's upsets. Tony Romo was only lacking music from The Notebook. Do tonight's College Football Playoff rankings mean anything, especially to Ohio State and Louisville? The worst bet in sports just became even worse. Is BBN just marking time until finally getting that 6th win? The Bengals are on the road to nowhere this season, and it might cost them their coach. Alshon Jeffrey is a fantasy coach killer. Kentucky football lost the battle, but will win the war this week against Austin Peay, despite what Jon Hale says from a very non-big picture persepctive. The College Football Playoff teams no longer have mulligans. How Ohio State is now in the same boat as Louisville, and it's drowning fast. A tell tale sign that your college football team stinks. Nick Saban lied to us again! Rick Pitino giving bad advice yet again. How to survive and make friends in BBN if you don't live and die by Kentucky basketball in Lexington. Ezekiel Elliott's dream season to be over before it starts? A fantasy football PPR dream season. If the T-Wolves have Wiggins and Towns, why are they still a lottery team? Will defending national champion Villanova lose tonight? And we pick MNF Bengals-Giants coming off an outstanding week at the window.

Austin has only one similarity with Kentucky: they're a shadow of their former selves from last year. ESPN experts - using that term loosely - don't like UK's chances at the Final Four. John Calipari got one vote for Coach of the Year, as did Rick Pitino - from Dick Vitale, of all people. If you're the Browns, you don't bench your QB at halftime when you're actually winning. DeMarcus Cousins and Julius Randle relive the 2002 NBA Western Conference Finals. Why Toronto might be the free agent destination of the NBA. Jim Harbaugh needs to stay put. Trump wins, despite Ric Flair's best efforts. PFF ranks Benny Snell 3rd among all NCAA freshman. Would he have gotten a chance if Drew Barker was healthy? If Jon Hale gives us food for thought regarding Kentucky football, then we are starving to death. KC Joyner echoes exactly what we have been saying about Louisville football since their loss to Clemson over a month ago. Tommy Tuberville is not one to make excuses, then he makes excuses. Kamryn Pettway is no Bo Jackson. A walk-on kicker needs to keep his father's social media in check. Colin Kaepernick makes political stances but doesn't even vote? Jerry Jones puts all the Tony Romo pressure on his coaches. Jeff Fisher knows how to keep a job. Seattle has their own deflategate to explain. Ezekiel Elliott has new accusations every week, but people still buy his jersey. We will listen to Sean Peyton. Billy Hamilton gets robbed. Mike Trout is going to get robbed again. Time to panic in Cleveland, obviously. An Atlanta hookah bar you might want to avoid. The Pelicans are already tanking. The Big Bang Theory just went Moneyball. Why betting on Lamar Jackson to win the Heisman is the worst bet you can make, even if you win. Tim Sullivan of the C-J obviously doesn't look at recent history before writing his columns. Why Richard Sherman is like that hot girl from high school. There are 9 teams that can win out and make the College Football Playoff, and none of those teams are named Louisville, despite Sportsman of the Year Bobby Petrino. Tommy Tuberville is as good as gone. RIP to college football's lone undefeated team, and make room for the new king! Check your fantasy league for who owns Melvin Gordon, as that team is at or near the top of the standings. The star of the Raiders isn't who you think it is. Rooting for Kentucky to defeat Asbury is like rooting for the New York Yankees to win the Little League World Series. Joe Lunardi has his first brackets, which will NEVER be changed!
