The College Football Playoff Committee reminds us that it's more important to know the right people and have the right name, than be skilled, talented, and hard-working. Ohio State gets away with it for the 2nd time in 3 years. Committee chairman Kirby Hocutt was so scared he would make Never Nervous Pervis Ellison nervous. Kirk Herbstreit was also scared to death, allowing ESPN to control everyone by giving information they had for many hours. Kentucky vs. Georgia Tech in a bowl with plenty of running. UK football recognized where no other SEC team would. Jim Harbaugh is still pissed at the refs. Tommy Tuberville deserves worse than he got at Cincinnati. We hate football chest passes. UCLA defeat of UK was a big upset, but not the biggest of the season. Isaiah Briscoe is exposed for the player he proved last year: a bad shooter with little confidence outside the paint. Why isn't Humphries and Mulder playing more? Villanova is the new #1, but we like another team with a better resume'. A sign the Bengals season is over, even if they win out. Kentucky football's miraculous season of redemption ends with the biggest Power 5 upset in Vegas all season. Stephen Johnson was the best QB on the field, not the Heisman favorite. If you'd said UK would finish 7-5 with 2 road wins when they were 0-2 and coming off the Florida defeat, I would've laughed in your face. Ohio State being invited to the College Football Playoff and the Big Ten Champion is left out would make the process a joke, regardless of whether Ohio State is worthy or not. College football coaches lie. In other news, water is wet. Does Butch Jones losing to Vandy give them the Championship of Life belts? The numbers say absolutely not. The College Football Playoff faces a huge contradiction if Ohio State defeats Michigan. Butch Jones finally found a championship he can win. Charlie Strong lost his job long before the humiliating loss to Kansas. How does Brian Kelly get a pass when Charlie Weis did not? Kentucky basketball might be ranked #1 by the AP, but they're the only ones who think that way. The numbers to date say Mulder should be playing more, and Monk is overrated. Is the Michigan State win losing cache' by the day? 2 teams we have no chance of predicting: Georgetown and UConn. Jeff Goodman goes for trolling BBN to get clicks. Bengals season is finished. We look at the 2 Loser Leave Town Games in college football this week, and wonder aloud why one team still with a very small chance to make the playoff is an underdog to an unranked team. BBN prepares for Kentucky basketball to be ranked #1 next week after the formality of defeating Duquesne? Who cares is Calipari refuses to play again at Indiana, although it does seem rather weak. A Lexington high schooler makes the absolute correct decision. The College Football Playoff rankings prove nothing, yet again, but Louisville is still pissed. Jimbo Fisher is all but gone. Kentucky football lost the battle, but will win the war this week against Austin Peay, despite what Jon Hale says from a very non-big picture persepctive. The College Football Playoff teams no longer have mulligans. How Ohio State is now in the same boat as Louisville, and it's drowning fast. A tell tale sign that your college football team stinks. Nick Saban lied to us again! Rick Pitino giving bad advice yet again. How to survive and make friends in BBN if you don't live and die by Kentucky basketball in Lexington. Ezekiel Elliott's dream season to be over before it starts? A fantasy football PPR dream season. If the T-Wolves have Wiggins and Towns, why are they still a lottery team? Will defending national champion Villanova lose tonight? And we pick MNF Bengals-Giants coming off an outstanding week at the window.

Was the Drew Barker injury a blessing in disguise? The numbers say "yes!" Former UK RB Moe Williams is a liar, and certainly no Eric Dickerson. College basketball season starts tonight! Stephen F. Austin has only one similarity with Kentucky: they're a shadow of their former selves from last year. ESPN experts - using that term loosely - don't like UK's chances at the Final Four. John Calipari got one vote for Coach of the Year, as did Rick Pitino - from Dick Vitale, of all people. If you're the Browns, you don't bench your QB at halftime when you're actually winning. DeMarcus Cousins and Julius Randle relive the 2002 NBA Western Conference Finals. Why Toronto might be the free agent destination of the NBA. Jim Harbaugh needs to stay put. A new 30 For 30 about a league where we remember 1 player. A Jeopardy contestant who won by losing, and we have picks for college football AND college basketball!

Trump wins, despite Ric Flair's best efforts. PFF ranks Benny Snell 3rd among all NCAA freshman. Would he have gotten a chance if Drew Barker was healthy? If Jon Hale gives us food for thought regarding Kentucky football, then we are starving to death. KC Joyner echoes exactly what we have been saying about Louisville football since their loss to Clemson over a month ago. Tommy Tuberville is not one to make excuses, then he makes excuses. Kamryn Pettway is no Bo Jackson. A walk-on kicker needs to keep his father's social media in check. Colin Kaepernick makes political stances but doesn't even vote? Jerry Jones puts all the Tony Romo pressure on his coaches. Jeff Fisher knows how to keep a job. Seattle has their own deflategate to explain. Ezekiel Elliott has new accusations every week, but people still buy his jersey. We will listen to Sean Peyton. Billy Hamilton gets robbed. Mike Trout is going to get robbed again. Time to panic in Cleveland, obviously. An Atlanta hookah bar you might want to avoid. The Pelicans are already tanking. The Big Bang Theory just went Moneyball. And we look for a 2nd consecutive winner in MACtion tonight.

Mark Stoops doesn't mind losing, now that he's made a bowl. Who is the better Kentucky QB: Drew Barker or Stephen Johnson? The numbers speak for themselves. A local kid should leave town immediately. Why betting on Lamar Jackson to win the Heisman is the worst bet you can make, even if you win. Tim Sullivan of the C-J obviously doesn't look at recent history before writing his columns. Why Richard Sherman is like that hot girl from high school. Ben Roberts of the H-L looks at Kentucky's 10 most difficult basketball games, apparently without looking at any historical data or returning possession minutes percentages. Klay Thompson is lying to himself. And we pick a big underdog in Tuesday Night MACtion college football.

Kentucky's loss to Georgia was because of one thing: difference in talent and skill at the QB position. And the numbers prove it. Did Brent Musburger have money on LSU? There are 9 teams that can win out and make the College Football Playoff, and none of those teams are named Louisville, despite Sportsman of the Year Bobby Petrino. Tommy Tuberville is as good as gone. RIP to college football's lone undefeated team, and make room for the new king! Check your fantasy league for who owns Melvin Gordon, as that team is at or near the top of the standings. The star of the Raiders isn't who you think it is. Rooting for Kentucky to defeat Asbury is like rooting for the New York Yankees to win the Little League World Series. Joe Lunardi has his first brackets, which will NEVER be changed! The Cubs celebration tour is now officially old and annoying. New Mexico students use taxpayer money to look for Bigfoot. And we pick the MNF game between Buffalo and Seattle.

After the 1st College Football Playoff Poll last year, the Top 4 teams went 0-4 vs the spread - 5-14 the rest of the season - and we go against 3 of the top 4 today. We give you the biggest reason that Georgia will defeat Kentucky today. Anthony Rizzo is dumb, because just gave away millions. More Cubs tales of woe, even in victory. Will the Cubs stay together? One site has the Cubs the 70th best team in MLB history, and 7th this century behind 2 A's teams that never won a playoff series! Bill Simmons was brave, but in front of the wrong audience. The Mannequin Challenge misses 3 key components. Ken Stabler gets the shaft, even in death. Josh Huff isn't self aware. And are the Warriors falling apart already?

We predicted Cubs over Indians in the World Series before the playoffs started - listen to our podcasts a month ago for proof. Have we changed our sabermetric minds due to Joe Maddon misusing Aroldis Chapman in Game 6? We also predicted a curveball by the College Football Playoff Committee that would send people into hysteria, but it signifies nothing. Why do Kentucky OC's continue with the cheap shots to Stephen Johnson? Patrick Towles is lying. Chad Johnson doesn't give himself enough credit. Is it time to finally trust Tyler Eifert? Ben Simmons doesn't have many fans, but he's right. Another player speaks out against Bob Knight. And we have a strong opinion about tonight's Game 7.

The first College Football Playoff poll is revealed tonight. Does it matter? Jeff Goodman intentionally trolls BBN. Chris Mullin is too nice. A mea culpa on Kentucky football and Mark Stoops: We were wrong (for once)! We never thought they'd make a bowl, but they did. But the numbers say it's still a fraud based on an amazingly fortuitous schedule, impeccable timing, and 4 SEC opponents being weaker than at anytime this decade. Making a bowl is great for BBN, but you should slow your roll on winning the SEC East. Tennessee is self-destructing, as their star RB and coach will not be there next season. How many teams can win out and make the college football playoff? We count 7. The Cubs win by making demands of Aroldis Chapman that are seemingly cruel and unusual punishment based on his past. Alex Rodriguez and Pete Rose are the next Key and Peele. The Bengals kiss their sister in England. Tyler Eifert is finally a fantasy starter, 8 weeks in. Gronk celebrates number 69, and so does a fan. Eagles ticket holders hate life today. Browns halfway to a perfect season. A fantasy football pickup and sleeper candidate facing his former team this week. Is Andre Johnson a Hall of Famer? Eric Bledsoe is now Eric Beldsoe, not to be confused with Mr. Belding. ESPN losing money quickly. And we pick tonight's Vikings-Bears MNF matchup.

Why is the Vegas line moving in favor of Missouri over Kentucky? Maybe a 1-15 road record under Mark Stoops is a factor. UK's OC throws some veiled cheap shots at Stephen Johnson. When did a calm demeanor replace talent and numbers on the board? Is Florida scared of LSU? How did Ohio State's odds improve? The new name of the Georgia-Florida game is ridiculous! Pitt students get a long weekend. Gunner Kiel deserves better. Mike Leach likes coin flips. The Indians win Game 1: Did Cleveland win it, or did the Cubs blow it? The NBA starts and the Warriors are already a train wreck. How can you bench Brock Osweiler when the backup is something named Tom Macho Man Savage. Josh Brown is finally gone. Jeremy Hill could be a fantasy football fraud. Great new Brett Favre book by Jeff Pearlman is out. Bobby Knight is a bully. In other news, water is wet. White guys - or lack thereof - in the NBA. Why is UK demanding respect now, after only beating the worst 3 teams in the SEC at home? Does Georgia present a better opportunity for that magical 6th win than at Missouri? Jim Harbaugh is at it again. Mark isn't the only Stoops with a struggling defense. Tom Herman is gone, just look at the Houston results. We look at the only 2 "perfect" teams in college football. Brock Osweiler hears (and deserves) the boo birds. A fantasy football god retires. Randy Moss has still got it. Grayson Allen tries to fix his image. Duke and Kentucky or the field? Kentucky Bowl Fever is contagious, but we still aren't impressed at UK defeating the 3 worst teams in the SEC at home. However, UK did statistically deserve to beat Mississippi State. Stephen Johnson is 4-1, Drew Barker is 0-2. Think Drew Barker will miraculously heal anytime soon? UK is 4-3, but will be underdogs in 4 of the last 5. Why Ohio State's loss was irrelevant. Louisville is playing for 11-1 and a Heisman Trophy, not the College Football Playoff. LSU's offense makes them the outlier for the rest of the college football season, especially if they somehow beat Alabama. Texas A&M is now in the same boat as Louisville, 11-1 and no place to go. Bengals win, Eli likes Trump, Gronk looking forward to his 69th score, Melvin Gordon is a fantasy God, and Jay Ajayi is no OJ Simpson. Our favorite web site has been updated. Boycotting any column that headlines anything close to "Keys To Winning," because they are ignorant. Gunner Kiel finally gets his shot. Josh Brown is proof that video is the key to life. Anthony Davis needs your help, but the reasons seem very sketchy. The Big 12 screws themselves, and soon every school will be on their own to have a chair when the realignment music stops. Our College Football Playoff projections haven't changed in weeks. Brian Kelly blames God for Notre Dame struggles? Arizona defeats the Jets in a coming out party for a fantasy football hero. Recapping a week in which the 4 playoff teams and Colorado remain undefeated. How one Expert is living in a refrigerator box today after his picks go 0-9. MLB Playoff drama, in which Dave Roberts has been great this October, save for one moment in Game 1. And that mistake, cost him a game. Kentucky's wins over South Carolina and Vanderbilt look weaker by the day, not to mention Southern Miss losing to Texas-San Antonio by 22. Bowl projections from Brett McMurphy, who has UK making a bowl, seem even sillier when you examine his other bowl picks. The Courier-Journal details a Road Map To The Playoff for Louisville, but our GPS says it's a dead end that lost connection the moment they lost to Clemson. LSU and Florida should be disqualified from the SEC Championship Game unless they make up their game. Steve Spurrier is bored. Tommy Tuberville now knows the date he will be fired. Which college teams are the best bets in the 2nd half of the season? The Cubs exploited a horrible Giants bullpen, and a manager who had no clue how to get 3 outs before using 5 pitchers allowing 4 runs. The Dodgers got lucky they didn't waste Kershaw, but the Nationals have Scherzer lurking. Pete Rose drops knowledge on post game shows. Tim Tebow keeps performing miracles. The LSU-Florida non-game takes on more importance by the day. Strange times with Tennessee football, as they prepare for the biggest game of the year. Robert Aguayo fever has hit Tampa Bay, but a vaccine may be on the way quickly. LeBron does the laundry. DeMarcus Cousins has never heard of this Paul McCartney dude. Is David Ortiz a HOF'er?
