Kentucky Bowl Fever is contagious, but we still aren't impressed at UK defeating the 3 worst teams in the SEC at home. However, UK did statistically deserve to beat Mississippi State. Stephen Johnson is 4-1, Drew Barker is 0-2. Think Drew Barker will miraculously heal anytime soon? UK is 4-3, but will be underdogs in 4 of the last 5. Why Ohio State's loss was irrelevant. Louisville is playing for 11-1 and a Heisman Trophy, not the College Football Playoff. LSU's offense makes them the outlier for the rest of the college football season, especially if they somehow beat Alabama. Texas A&M is now in the same boat as Louisville, 11-1 and no place to go. Bengals win, Eli likes Trump, Gronk looking forward to his 69th score, Melvin Gordon is a fantasy God, and Jay Ajayi is no OJ Simpson. Our favorite web site has been updated. Kentucky loses what some locally are mistakenly calling a moral victory. The numbers easily prove otherwise. Just like every year in my lifetime, UK-Vanderbilt is the biggest game of the year for BBN. And this time, Mark Stoops has his job on the line. Brett McMurphy still has the 2-3 Cats in a bowl? That's a guy sticking to his guns, no matter what! Louisville just lost their playoff spot, no matter what happens. Tennessee is either the luckiest team ever, or a Team of Destiny, depending on your fandom and intelligence level. We believe the former, not the latter. Washington justifies our playoff love. Julio Jones is the best statistical WR in the history of the NFL. The MLB regular season is mercifully over for the Reds, despite a 2nd half for the ages from Joey Votto. Votto gives Mike Trout his deserved props, while the haters say Votto is just bitter. The Cubs and Rangers are favored in Vegas to make the World Series, but we disagree. A special Labor Day edition focuses on the aftermath of Kentucky's loss to Southern Miss, in which the Cats were thoroughly outplayed. Should Mark Stoops be fired if he wins 4 or less games this season, even with a costly buyout? And where is that "vaunted" Stoops D he brought from Florida State? We choose our 4 College Football Playoff Teams (spoiler: no Alabama or Clemson). Why have I seen ZERO "experts" in Lexington say UK Football will win less than 6 games? Mark Stoops and Shannon Dawson are lying. Only losers care about depth charts (other than QB's). Reds lose as 2 future HOF'ers go yard, and our old pal Alfredo Simon (9.05) is back. More Kaepernick buzz that needs to go away. QUICK: Name the Week 1 QB's for Dallas, Denver, and New England! Andy Lee is traded for being a wimp. Tim Tebow works out. It's Kentucky Football Preview time! We look at UK's game-by-game schedule, and tell you why the local "experts" are wrong yet again! I'll give you the high points: a coach who's 4-23 vs. SEC & Louisville, a QB with 2 starts (140ypg avg), 1 TD, 2 INT, and 1 bar brawl, and a team that is 1-23 on the road this decade in the SEC. The Reds lose a "heartbreaker" in Arizona 11-2 on Sunday, and head to Anaheim. If Reds fans hate Joey Votto so much, where's the Homer Bailey outcry? What's the difference between a "dual-threat" and "pro-style" quarterback? Colin Kaepernick sits out the anthem. Tony Romo is hurt (lather, rinse, repeat). Denver has a new QB nobody knows.
