Kentucky Bowl Fever is contagious, but we still aren't impressed at UK defeating the 3 worst teams in the SEC at home. However, UK did statistically deserve to beat Mississippi State. Stephen Johnson is 4-1, Drew Barker is 0-2. Think Drew Barker will miraculously heal anytime soon? UK is 4-3, but will be underdogs in 4 of the last 5. Why Ohio State's loss was irrelevant. Louisville is playing for 11-1 and a Heisman Trophy, not the College Football Playoff. LSU's offense makes them the outlier for the rest of the college football season, especially if they somehow beat Alabama. Texas A&M is now in the same boat as Louisville, 11-1 and no place to go. Bengals win, Eli likes Trump, Gronk looking forward to his 69th score, Melvin Gordon is a fantasy God, and Jay Ajayi is no OJ Simpson. Our favorite web site has been updated. Charles Barkley and the long line of Auburn cheaters. And by the way, the World Series starts tomorrow. We vote Harry Doyle over Joe Buck! And we pick tonight's MNF Texans-Broncos game.

A special Saturday morning edition, live from the palatial WJMM Studios at the Christian Broadcasting Systems. We pick today's big games, and also Miss St-Kentucky (cheap shot intended). Wake me for the regular season, not the Blue-White Game. What Andre McGee, Steve Bartman, and Johnny Carson have in common. Boycotting any column that headlines anything close to "Keys To Winning," because they are ignorant. Gunner Kiel finally gets his shot. Josh Brown is proof that video is the key to life. Brett Favre HATED Aaron Rodgers. Can the Cubs end the curse? And we have a different choice for throwing out the first pitch of the World Series, not Charlie Sheen or Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn."

SEC Country points out the obvious about UK Football's passing game, or lack thereof. How is the 6th ranked team in America a 19.5-point underdog? Why isn't Vontaze Burfict suspended yet? Knile Davis is this week's fantasy football flavor of the week, and is a proven commodity. What's wrong with Randall Cobb? Leave Bill Belichick alone to play his Atari 2600. A stat that shows how fantasy football has evolved in the last decade. Very interesting odds in Las Vegas on what is expected of Golden State this season, both individually and as a team. Charles Barkley is no QB Eagles. Dick Vitale has Duke #1. In other news, water is wet. A Price Is Right miracle. The Indians are cruising, while the Cubs are gripping. And we pick both MLB Playoff games tonight.

Mark Stoops call-in show provides top shelf comedy yet again. Why Drew Barker isn't playing the rest of the season. Comparing Kentucky to Mississippi State using a common opponent paints an easy picture to read. Louisville prepares for the worst, or nothing at all. Anthony Davis needs your help, but the reasons seem very sketchy. The Big 12 screws themselves, and soon every school will be on their own to have a chair when the realignment music stops. Our College Football Playoff projections haven't changed in weeks. Brian Kelly blames God for Notre Dame struggles? Arizona defeats the Jets in a coming out party for a fantasy football hero. Terry Francona is a bullpen genius, when he isn't flipping us off. The Curious Case of Jake Arrieta, and we pick tonight's 2 MLB Playoff games.

Big Blue Madness: Maybe that Michael Buffer appearance fee could've been saved for a potential Mark Stoops buyout. UK Football gains by not playing. An interesting stat about Stoops when a underdog against the spread. Louisville struggles, but their margin of victory is irrelevant unless Clemson loses 2, which isn't happening. Recapping a week in which the 4 playoff teams and Colorado remain undefeated. How one Expert is living in a refrigerator box today after his picks go 0-9. Our pals Brett McMurphy and Mark Schlabach are at it again! Bengals lose to Patriots, badly. Would Tony Romo had started 5-1 like Dak Prescott has? NFL Week 6 reaction, fantasy and reality. MLB Playoff drama, in which Dave Roberts has been great this October, save for one moment in Game 1. And that mistake, cost him a game. Our pick for Playoff MVP Andrew Miller looking stronger by the day, especially to Jose Bautista. Joey Votto to Toronto rumors flying again. And we pick tonight's Cleveland-Blue Jays Game 3, as well as Jets-Cardinals Monday Night Football.....

Big Blue Madness is here. By the way, it's just a glorified practice. Lamar Jackson has the approval of QB Eagles, but might have a tough time living up to expectations tonight. LSU bullies Florida into playing in Baton Rouge. Oregon hasn't covered a spread all year. Denver and San Diego put on a snooze fest for even the gamblers and fantasy football players. Brett Favre has some nerve to discuss QB controversies. Dodgers show the world how a bullpen should be used, as Dusty Baker underachieves yet again. And after a 4-1 week last week, we make our picks, including going against 3 Top 10 teams.

Kentucky's wins over South Carolina and Vanderbilt look weaker by the day, not to mention Southern Miss losing to Texas-San Antonio by 22. Bowl projections from Brett McMurphy, who has UK making a bowl, seem even sillier when you examine his other bowl picks. The Courier-Journal details a Road Map To The Playoff for Louisville, but our GPS says it's a dead end that lost connection the moment they lost to Clemson. LSU and Florida should be disqualified from the SEC Championship Game unless they make up their game. Steve Spurrier is bored. Tommy Tuberville now knows the date he will be fired. Which college teams are the best bets in the 2nd half of the season? The Cubs exploited a horrible Giants bullpen, and a manager who had no clue how to get 3 outs before using 5 pitchers allowing 4 runs. The Dodgers got lucky they didn't waste Kershaw, but the Nationals have Scherzer lurking. Pete Rose drops knowledge on post game shows. Tim Tebow keeps performing miracles. Name That Tune with DeMarcus Cousins. And we pick the only game in town, Appalachian State vs Louisiana-Lafayette with help from our gambling buddy that you might have heard from before.

The SEC schedule gods have shined brightly upon Kentucky football this season. A job posting that should make BBN turn out by the thousands. Bobby Petrino is a fool if he thinks his team can still make the college football playoff. Only 6 teams have a legitimate shot at the college football playoff. The LSU-Florida non-game takes on more importance by the day. Strange times with Tennessee football, as they prepare for the biggest game of the year. Robert Aguayo fever has hit Tampa Bay, but a vaccine may be on the way quickly. LeBron does the laundry. DeMarcus Cousins has never heard of this Paul McCartney dude. Is David Ortiz a HOF'er? Laremy Tunsil is at it again. Blue Jays-Indians ALCS set, while the NL is up for grabs. Did the Cubs give up last night's game? Joe Blanton sticks it to a Dodgers fan. And we pick tonight's NLCS games after going 2-0 yesterday.

Kentucky football wins, but Mark Stoops sticks it to the toxic fan base (which never works). Slow your roll on the UK Football Is Back sentiment: they've actually been favored in 4 of their 6 games this season, but they won't be favored in 5 of their next 6 games. Now TWO ESPN college football writers have UK in a bowl game. Do these guys even look at schedules? Newest waste of time and internet space: game grades. UK Basketball practices, most of world yawns while BBN pants like a dog. Houston is officially out of college football playoff now, but they had no chance anyway. Florida wins big by not playing. Bengals lose, and are looking dead in the eyes of 2-4 next week. MLB Playoffs continue, and we pick a baseball underdog and the Bucs-Panthers game tonight.

We pick against 3 AP Top 10 teams this weekend. The 2016 AL Champs MVP is named Andrew Miller. An infamous Reds anniversary. TBS needs to shape up their graphics department. Arizona defeats San Francisco, who should be ashamed for sitting Colin Kaepernick and letting Blaine Gabbert start the last 13 games. We can't get enough Ric Flair/Halle Berry gossip. Dwyane Wade was right about LeBron James never being able to pass Michael Jordan, but not because of anything on the court. David Blatt should put his ring on eBay. Finally, some respect for Joe Buck. The Atlanta Hawks should change their stand on fan participation this season before someone gets hurt (bad!). If Mark Stoops can't stop the 13th ranked QB in the SEC who's playing with 1 eye, he deserves to be fired! John Calipari gives BBN some good news, then starts talking crazy. We are all for August basketball (if the games count and you can bet on them). Rick Pitino uses some reverse psychology on the NCAA. How the mighty have fallen: Joker Phillips now works a sketchy job for very little money. Louisville football fans still think they can make the playoff, although history tells us there's no chance. We join in piling on Buck Showalter. Brandon Phillips claims he wants to be in Cincinnati. He's the only one who shares those sentiments, and the numbers prove it. A Bengal to drop in fantasy football. Tim Tebow still lives in the NFL. Ric Flair has still got it. And we pick tonight's Giants-Mets Wild Card game.

Mark Stoops feeling good about what Alabama said after clobbering you doesn't hold much validity. Louisville cries foul over missing first down marker at Clemson, and they're right! Our new college football playoff projections still have Washington in, since we have had them in since Labor Day. Vikings humiliate Odell Beckham (fantasy football bust) and the Giants. It's official: the Reds had the worst pitching in MLB history! What happened to The Genius Tony LaRussa? Forget shoes without laces, how about that Sports Almanac, McFly? Kentucky loses what some locally are mistakenly calling a moral victory. The numbers easily prove otherwise. Just like every year in my lifetime, UK-Vanderbilt is the biggest game of the year for BBN. And this time, Mark Stoops has his job on the line. Brett McMurphy still has the 2-3 Cats in a bowl? That's a guy sticking to his guns, no matter what! Louisville just lost their playoff spot, no matter what happens. Tennessee is either the luckiest team ever, or a Team of Destiny, depending on your fandom and intelligence level. We believe the former, not the latter. Washington justifies our playoff love. Julio Jones is the best statistical WR in the history of the NFL. The MLB regular season is mercifully over for the Reds, despite a 2nd half for the ages from Joey Votto. Votto gives Mike Trout his deserved props, while the haters say Votto is just bitter. The Cubs and Rangers are favored in Vegas to make the World Series, but we disagree. DJ LeMahieu sits to win the batting average title, and did the right thing! Other NFL notes, and we pick tonight's Monday Night Football game between the Giants and Vikings.

Kentucky Football: in search of Brandon Chicken. Nick Saban swears Mark Stoops is doing a really good job. Honest! Saban also calls his backup QB a quitter. Big Blue Madness ticket scramble reveals the biggest loser in BBN history (which is saying something). The Bengals beat a listless Dolphins team. The Reds gets a royal screwjob by the umpires. Mark Stoops calling Alabama a "tall task" is today's winner of the Captain Obvious Award. Still surprising how many Kentucky fans hold a grudge against Damien Harris. Jalen Hurts and Stephen Johnson are both "dual-threat" QB's, which is the media's code for being black kids (much like a WR who is white is a "possession" receiver"). One list of the "memorable moments in Kentucky-Alabama rivalry" has had one entry in 40+ years. And don't both teams have to be competitive to call it a "rivalry?" The campers for Big Blue Madness are sad and pathetic people. A Louisville journalist falls for the Bobby Petrino web of lies. Daniel Tosh does another ode to Lane Kiffin. Louisville-Clemson QB battle is no contest. Reds lose, as Aledmys Diaz tells us to shut up. Pete Rose sends a letter. Dusty Baker has another built-in excuse for when he loses in October. JJ Watt statistically underrated, and also an underrated jerk in real life. Ben Simmons is fat. Anthony Davis making excuses. Happy "Take A Break From Gambling Day." Ugh! And we pick an awful team to upset a winning team tonight in MLB.

One ESPN scribe has mailed in his bowl picks by including Kentucky. BBN fans hating on Damien Harris for making the right decision are the losers, not Harris. Coach's call-in shows are the worst/most miserable programs on the radio, until last night. The LSU coaching search has some laughable names already. We stick with our 4 controversial College Football Playoff team projections. Reds a thorn in the Cardinals side. The number of fans that think Adam Duvall is having a better year than Joey Votto is a sad statement for local fans. Should the Cardinals have let their All-Star shortstop Aledmys Diaz leave the team to mourn his childhood friend Jose Fernandez's death? The easiest MLB bet of the season happened last night. For those who think UK's win over SC was groundbreaking, Vegas also thought Kentucky would win. Vegas doesn't think Alabama is the next victim. Why were so many scared radio hosts scared to talk about the Mark Stoops rumors when callers wanted to talk about them? Just trying to protect their phony baloney jobs. Les Miles fired at LSU for winning 77% and a national title. Notre Dame fires their DC in a weak move looking for a scapegoat. A bad beat that would make most (not us) stop gambling forever. Jose Fernandez and Arnold Palmer reaction. Bengals lose to either a) defending Super Bowl champ, or b) team with QB starting 1st career road game. Calls for McCarron over Dalton are silly. A fantasy football player who might start a riot in your fantasy league. FIFA claims racism is over. The Reds have one more week and then can go home. The Dodgers win one for Vin Scully. The Cubs could win all 162 games and still be a failure if they don't win World Series. We pick tonight's Falcons-Saints game in New Orleans.

UK Football says Stephen Johnson is their guy, but for how long? South Carolina calls out BBN fans for being weird and quiet. Mark Stoops called out his defensive scapegoat, which is a classless move. When will people stop grading football players and teams? Why is Lamar Thomas texting Lamar Jackson, unless he needs money or info on George Teague? How Lamar Jackson stacks up against the last 2 Heisman winners. The ACC just pissed away 10K. AP Polls are useless, bringing to mind an old 80's money grab show called "Cats, Cox, and Combs," with an even more flawed Top 10 list. What in God's name is going on with Rick Stansbury and Western Kentucky? Why does Tennessee wear gray uniforms in big games? Why do the Gators claims a duck can't pull a truck? Paul Finebaum knows to get on the Michigan train while he still can. Is Clemson an upset prospect this week? Reds lose again, but one early bum has pitched well of late. Statistical proof that the Reds pitching staff is the worst of all time. Mookie Betts is not better than Mike Trout. David Ortiz is finishing stronger than Barry Bonds? A Bengals TE to pick up in fantasy. Bill Walton has a statue of himself that he can't give away. And we go for 4 straight MLB underdog winners.

Mark Stoops approaches his latest "must win" game with a tired cliche' about his QB situation, and flawed reasoning. Stoops contradicts himself by telling Stephen Johnson not running gives him the best chance of winning. Did someone really compare Stephen Johnson and Drew Barker to Tom Brady and Drew Bledsoe circa 2001? Can Kentucky really use wins over South Carolina the last 2 seasons as cache' when they kicked the QB who won those 2 games off the team? South Carolina has their own QB controversy. Mark Story is either a misguided and biased fan, or giving false hope to a downtrodden fan base. Louisville the toast of college football, with 2 games remaining before the playoff, but Lamar Jackson insults our intelligence. Bengals running game has dropped off the map. Jay Cutler is hated by everyone, but is Carson Wentz already overrated? The Patriots should take a page from the '87 49ers. Jordan Mathews costs plenty of fantasy owners with his drop. Jeff Fisher sticks with the worst QB in the NFL. The Browns sign (clipboard) Jesus. An homage to The Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook. Reds lose, but all hail the pitching staff for a new MLB record! Joey Votto continues to dominate in silence and bitterness. We go for our 3rd consecutive MLB underdog winner....

Kentucky finds their QB, and it's not Drew Barker. Why the numbers say Stephen Johnson should start against South Carolina. Barker and Matt Elam are certainly not living up to their "stars." UK DC is struggling so bad that he got sent to the booth, and then they cut his phone lines too? Louisville is 2 wins away from the College Football Playoff and Lamar Jackson is the Heisman winner. Who knew that in August? Oklahoma plays their way out of the playoff, even if they win out by 50+ each game. Bengals lose because they can't run. Bring back Hue! The 3 leading rushers and receivers in the NFL this week weren't close to the top of any fantasy football draft lists in August. A rash of RB injuries means the waiver wires will be hot, and reiterates our fantasy draft strategies regarding running backs. After this week, which team will the the only team in NFL history not to start a black QB? John Wall commits a Cardinal (or in this case, Cowboy) sin. Forget the steroid era, this is the year of the home run. Tim Tebow is about one thing. Is Madden smarter than Tecmo Bowl? And we pick tonight's Eagles-Bears matchup.....

UK football's 2017's cupcakes aren't soft enough. Got $300? You can attend FSU-Louisville! We look how the odds have changed in the biggest matchups this week. Fading Kirk Herbstreit is always smart. Urban Meyer opens up about his problems, but we know the real reason he left Florida (Nick Saban). Oklahoma State laughable for calling for a Central Michigan forfeit. Mike Leach tells it like it is. North Carolina makes a terrible comparison to their bathroom laws. Should the Browns just go for 0-16? Jeff Fisher is heading for an NFL record. Mike Tomlin readies his team for the Bengals, who is getting more love in Vegas. What happened to CJ Spiller? Is Brandon LaFell really worth a fantasy pickup? Colin Kaepernick truly makes it big. Isn't it ironic how Mark Stoops wants to take a more active role in defensive game plans when New Mexico State (108th out of 128 in offensive efficiency) is the next game on the schedule? Is "simplify the game plan" code for our quarterback is dumb? Recruiting "experts" (of which there are none) protecting their phony baloney jobs by not admitting UK football recruiting was overrated (out of fear of BBN thinking they actually made a mistake). Big college football weekend fast approaching, and we see 2 potential "Unranked Traps" in Vegas. 2 NFL blowouts on Monday night. If you passed on Antonio Brown, you get what you deserve. Why is Jeff Fisher considered a good coach? What we learned about gambling last weekend. Our new (actually same) win total projections for Kentucky and the College Football Playoff. Or an AD that let emotion rush him to a decision to give Mark Stoops an extension before he had ever made a bowl game? And what happened to that "famed" 2014 recruiting class? The biggest game in Kentucky this year will be this weekend in Louisville. The NFL season finally starts, and the best QB in the league might be on a team you haven't watched in years. The ESPN Fantasy Football app went down yesterday, which was the ONE day you needed it most of all. Week 1 reactions, fantasy news, and Keenan Allen buyer's remorse? UK Football now living through the windshield, not the rear view mirror. Gators HC Jim McElwein needs laugh tracks under his comments about Kentucky. SEC Country quickly becoming mind-numbing for the lowest common denominators. Tony Barnhart rehashes the UK-Florida "rivalry." SEC teams that struggled had similar deficiencies: quarterback and coaching. UK OC Eddie Gran paints an unrealistic reaction of BBN to their loss. We rant on how irrelevant UK Soccer and high school football is in Big Boy World, which leads us to one of our commandments: "If we can't bet on the next game, we ain't talkin' bout it!" DeAndre Ayton picks Arizona, reminding us of how no college basketball team has burned more of our money over the years than those Wildcats. Courier-Journal wins today's Captain Obvious award regarding Lamar Jackson. Reds lose again, even when favored in Vegas (as we predicted). Adam Duvall has stunk for months, but reached a milestone. Skip Bayless v. Troy Aikman (advantage, Aikman). NFL QB thoughts, college football rants (including how wrong the AP Poll is), and we look to extend our MLB underdog pick streak fading a team on a steep downhill slide.

More spin from Mediocre Game Mark Stoops as he begs BBN to believe in him (AKA protect his phony baloney buyout clause), so no more Mr. Nice Guy! Nick Saban throws shade on UK compared to Western. Agent Of The Year: the guy who got Stoops a $12m buyout clause. Oddsmakers like Bama and Florida BIG this week. Florida State ruins a perfectly good Ole Miss cover. The Reds can't beat a drunk and hungover team who didn't even go to sleep the night before. Alfredo Simon looks like he's lost weight, but his ERA hasn't. Why hasn't someone drug tested Brian Dozier? NFL jersey sales make you wonder. Is Jared Goff already a bust? Maybe Carolina will be ready "THIS time" for Denver, since they said they weren't last time. A special Labor Day edition focuses on the aftermath of Kentucky's loss to Southern Miss, in which the Cats were thoroughly outplayed. Should Mark Stoops be fired if he wins 4 or less games this season, even with a costly buyout? And where is that "vaunted" Stoops D he brought from Florida State? Can UK benefit from many of their SEC opponents looking down? What are the Kentucky football projections going forward? Should Stoops pony up for a new TV for a disgruntled fan? I'd like to hear from Clint Stoerner right about now. Big weekend winners: Alabama and Washington. Big losers: Oklahoma and LSU. The Reds only have 27 games left before they can put themselves out of their misery. Jay Bruce heads back to Cincinnati. Why does everyone give up so much for Sam Bradford? And we pick tonight's Ole Miss-Florida State game, after a red hot 7-1-1 record this weekend.

Who is crazy enough to pick against FOUR of the AP Top 10 college football teams in Week 1? The Bottom Line, that's who! We give our picks for the big games this weekend. And oh yeah, Southern Miss-Kentucky too. We also recommend a few "Gambler's Anonymous" games that are under the radar, but still pay off just as well. And as always (and especially this weekend), may the winners be yours.....

College football season finally begins tonight, and we pick the games against the spread! We look at the following games: South Carolina-Vanderbilt, Rice-Western Kentucky, Charlotte-Louisville, and Appalachian State-Tennessee. With one "Mac Daddy Stogie" pick (where you can light your victory cigar in the 4th quarter), and one "Gamblers Anonymous" pick (for investors who just have to have the action) in this abbreviated edition. And as always, may the winners be yours.....

UK-Southern Miss football previews are demoralizing. We tell you what you REALLY need to know about Southern Miss football in 10 seconds. Why does USA Today have Southern Miss ranked 45th and Kentucky 74th? Three words: strength of schedule. A Patrick Towles fluff piece to end our summer tribute to fluff pieces. Reds lose again. We acknowledge yet another MVP season from Mike Trout, the rich man's Joey Votto, and explain why he should win MVP this season (and how he should have won every MVP since 2012). Todd Frazier blasts Reds ownership. Teddy Bridgewater fallout. Ben Revere should take some lessons from Joey Votto. Tim Tebow mania. Colin Kaepernick on Salute to Military Night in SD. Peyton Manning made a new friend. Hue Jackson lies about Andy Lee. Vontaze Burfict gets blame while the real killer gets away. Mike Tyson wants some ice cream. And we finally move on from the Mariners after last night's heart breaker, and find another MLB underdog.

We choose our 4 College Football Playoff Teams (spoiler: no Alabama or Clemson). Why have I seen ZERO "experts" in Lexington say UK Football will win less than 6 games? Mark Stoops and Shannon Dawson are lying. Only losers care about depth charts (other than QB's). Reds lose as 2 future HOF'ers go yard, and our old pal Alfredo Simon (9.05) is back. More Kaepernick buzz that needs to go away. QUICK: Name the Week 1 QB's for Dallas, Denver, and New England! Andy Lee is traded for being a wimp. Tim Tebow works out. Clayton Kershaw hopes to recover from AJ Ellis trade. The masses are all over Clemson vs. Auburn. And we try to bounce back from last night's MLB loss.

It's Kentucky Football Preview time! We look at UK's game-by-game schedule, and tell you why the local "experts" are wrong yet again! I'll give you the high points: a coach who's 4-23 vs. SEC & Louisville, a QB with 2 starts (140ypg avg), 1 TD, 2 INT, and 1 bar brawl, and a team that is 1-23 on the road this decade in the SEC. The Reds lose a "heartbreaker" in Arizona 11-2 on Sunday, and head to Anaheim. If Reds fans hate Joey Votto so much, where's the Homer Bailey outcry? What's the difference between a "dual-threat" and "pro-style" quarterback? Colin Kaepernick sits out the anthem. Tony Romo is hurt (lather, rinse, repeat). Denver has a new QB nobody knows. I battle a local columnist on the Carlos Ruiz-AJ Ellis trade. Fantasy winner/loser of weekend. And we look to continue a 5 of 6 streak in MLB underdog winners with a team looking for sweep revenge.

Kirk Herbstreit throws UK Football a bone, but he got ALL 4 teams he picked for the College Football Playoff wrong! When will BBN tire of preseason coach speak? Apparently, never. More "experts" weigh in on the upcoming season, and some with crazy angles. We still wonder why there's drama with UK honoring Rick Pitino and the 1996 National Championship team. Ever notice how the Reds started playing much better when Joey Votto became red hot? A big day in Reds history for Pete Rose. John Wall has a case against Bradley Beal. Derrick Rose has lost his mind. Can the Cubs really bench a $184m man? We now know why Josh Norman was let go in Carolina. Robert Aguayo hatred gets louder. Doug Baldwin playa hates. And we begin a new MLB underdog streak going against the league's worst SP in August....

UK Football projections are all over the map, and we are here to give you the facts. Rick Pitino doesn't get the BBN respect he probably deserves, regardless of his sins. The Reds ruin a Monday afternoon, as Texas rolls into town Tuesday night. We ask again why Lane Kiffin isn't the next UK coach, and remembering the magic of the 1992 Hawaii football team. Tyler Eifert WAY behind schedule, Dez Bryant has his priorities straight, Josh Gordon trade talk, and Robert Aguayo is toast. The 10 smartest MLB teams are the ones not wasting their time on Tim Tebow, and Billy Butler deserves his beating. And we go for 5 straight MLB underdog winners.....

UK football is almost here, and we discuss the buzz of lower ticket sales, how one website is shocked Kentucky isn't ranked, and a delusional "legacy" of QB's from KY. We look at preseason AP polls, and how one local columnist agrees team for team (way to stick your neck out). What we remember most from the Olympics (probably not what you remember most), the Reds and Bottom Line favorite Joey Votto fighting for respect (and getting none), MLB, NFL, fantasy football, and SEC Football has gone religious. Also, we look for our 4th consecutive underdog MLB winner.

Rick Bozich UK vs UofL non-conference schedule analysis is spot on (with help from Jeff Sagarin). Saturday Down South thinks Kentucky Football is awesome and Drew Barker is a star! Welcome to August....
Reds lose, and Cody Reed needs a break. Tom Brady promoted like Dale Murphy of the old Braves on TBS, RG3 driving a clunker. Donovan McNabb finally gets one right. Madden Ratings taken a little too far. Cespedes for the rest of us needs to stop playing golf.
Russell Westbrook obviously hates Kevin Durant. Derek Fisher might need to see a psychiatrist. Nick Saban cleans out a player's locker, literally. The Olympics are underway.....big whoop. Justin Tucker is good from 84? Uh huh....
Happy Anniversary Robin Ventura getting caught in a head lock. My ATL memories or Buckhead Brett Favre. Elena Della-Donne makes headlines when she shouldn't. Daily Fantasy Sports passes in NY. Legalized national sports gambling will be here sooner than you think.
Fantasy Football Preview: Dallas Cowboys (sponsored by the Kentucky Fantasy Football State Championship. Follow @KFFSC, at kffsc.com, or contact Ferrell Elliott at 502-523-5057 to learn how to become a state champ).
Going for 3rd straight MLB underdog winner tonight.

Kentucky Football: Is Stoops really calmer? Or just resigned to his "5 wins or less" fate? SB Nation takes VERY in depth look at UK Football, and you may not like what the numbers tell you. You are who you roll with: UK Football program ranks in line with Penn, Rice, Tulane, and Wyoming.
Reds walk off win pales in comparison to more Joey Votto hatred, which still boggles the mind. Homer Bailey (he of the $100+m contract) is complaining about 100 losses? A big part of this is HIS fault!
Michael Jordan continues to be the most competitive/bitter man alive. Fireside chats on the USA Yacht with Coach K and DeMarcus Cousins.
DeAndre Hopkins won't get his money, but should. Colin Kaepernick won't give back his money, but should. Nick Saban sticks it to player who wants to leave. Frank Haith is the new Larry Brown.
An MLB underdog pick that's the better team with the better starting pitcher.
